CUPECOY:--- Certain areas on the island experienced a shortage in water today as the Water Plant in Cupecoy had an emergency maintenance shut down from 9am to 6pm. Certain areas were affected with low water pressure. Areas that were affected were Dawn Beach, Guana Bay, Defiance, Oyster Pond, Pelican and Maho. A crew has been working around the clock to have this rectified, the plant should be up and running by late evening with the affected areas being restored later.
Mr. Maduro and the GEBE team met with Government, Minister de Weever and team to discuss and have this resolved as soon as possible.
