PHILIPSBURG:--- GEBE conducted a weekend of Motivational Talks with World Renowned Speaker Mr. Les Brown from January 2 – 4, 2014. This event was organized to help individuals and companies to be motivated and recognized the greatness in us all. Mr. Les Brown arrived on St. Maarten on January 1, and immediately went to work where he met with approximately 230 GEBE employees on January 2 at its Employee Motivational morning.
The need to help guide our young people in the right direction and afford them the opportunity to perform for the general public was one of the reason a Youth night was factored into the weekends event. The youth of St. Maarten put on a spectacular show and left the audience and Mr. Les Brown with big smiles on their faces. The weekend ended with GEBE Black Tie event where Mr. Les Brown spoke about his life stories and lessons. He reminded the audience that "we all have Greatness within us, and to continue to surround our self with Only Quality People". Mr. Maduro, President of the Managing Board stated that "GEBE would like to thank the public of St. Maarten for embracing this initiative and promises to continue to support the community with much more needed events such as this".
