MADAME ESTATE:--- Staff of St. Maarten Cable TV/TV15/CableNet recently held short ceremony for the former cleaner Catherine Dickens who retired from service after 26 years of working at the company. Since Cable TV management did not do anything for her retirement, workers decided on their own to honor Ms. Dickens for her years of service at a dinner and gave her a basket with items.
Ms. Dickens who was born in Dominica and lived most her life in Middle Region thanked all Cable TV staff members present for recognizing her as part of the family. She started work at St. Maarten at the time the St. Maarten Cable TV was established in October 1988 until last December.
