7+U age group category
On Saturday, January 25, 2014 Learning Unlimited Hotshots faced Sr. Regina in the 7+U category. Sr. Regina put up a valiant fight with only four players versus a full Learning Unlimited squad. The Learning Unlimited Hotshots's name was fitting; the team scored 7 goals in the first half and 12 in the second half. Sr. Regina's playmaker Kars Kerssies and promising prospect Ronil Garcia managed together to rid Sr. Regina from the nil. Kerssies scored Sr. Regina's lone goal after Garcia's assist. The final result was Learning Unlimited Hotshots 18 – 1 Sr. Regina. Top scorers for Learning Unlimited Hotshots were Sergio Vasseur with 7 goals, Frans Richardson and Marshall Leone both with 4 goals.

9+U age group category
In the 9+U category Learning Unlimited played versus Sr. Magda Athletics. It was a balanced game on the field between the two sides except for the finishing touch. Learning Unlimited scored twice in the first half and three times in the second half. Sr. Magda Athletics created many chances, but was unable to put the ball between the posts. The final result was Learning Unlimited 5 – 0 Sr. Magda Athletics. Top scorer for Learning Unlimited was Oliver Hobgood with 4 goals. Darsh Nankani was instrumental with his 2 assists to gain Learning Unlimited's victory.
The second game in the 9+U category was between Leonald Connor and Sr. Magda Energetics. Sr. Magda Energetics applied a lot of pressure on the Leonald Connor's defensive line right from the start, causing two quick own goals by the Leonald Connor's defense. After that the Leonald Connor defense got their organization straightened out. Sr. Magda Energetics, nevertheless, slowly but surely extended the lead. Leonald Connor managed to score twice to try to close the gap in the first half, however in the second half Alex Speetjens did his job as goalkeeper very well, supported by D'Angelo Bute, who played the last man position for Sr. Magda, allowing no more goals. The final result was Leonald Connor 2 – 5 Sr. Magda Energetics. Goal scorers for Sr. Magda Energetics were Jorginho Singodikromo, Tajikah Richardson and D'Angelo Bute. Goal scorers for Leonald Connor were Iverson Powell and Philando Parchment.
In the last game in the 9+U category Sr. Regina faced Sr. Borgia. Early in the game Sr. Borgia lost playmaker Gilmar Blackman due to a knee injury. He was surely missed by his team, which tried to cope with Sr. Regina's experienced goal scorers Amaru Bute and Reshawn Eustase; both players found the net 5 times. Even though the Sr. Borgia side was overwhelmed by Sr. Regina's experienced playmaking, they need to be commended for not giving up. This year's debutant will experience highs and lows, but is bound to become stronger because of it. The final result Sr. Regina 18 – 0 Sr. Borgia. Top scorers for Sr. Regina were Amaru Bute with 5 goals and 1 assist, Reshawn Eustase with 5 goals and 4 assists and Jaydon Gumbs with 3 goals and 2 assists.

11+U age group category: results group A
In the 11+U group A game Learning Unlimited played an on fire Leonald Connor. The Leonald Connor players gained more and more confidence after taking a secure lead in the first half. Learning Unlimited had problems coping with trailing in the score and the heads were down, however an inspirational pep-talk by Coach Kevin Dekkers at half time helped to put some step back into the Learning Unlimited players; resulting in three goals in the second half. However, the change in attitude came too late to close the gap. The final score was Learning Unlimited 3 – 7 Leonald Connor. Special mention needs to be made for Leonald Connor Jonie Zephir, whose perfect lob ball was unstoppable for the Learning Unlimited goalkeeper. Top scorer for Leonald Connor was Gamy Charles with 6 goals. Goal scorers for Learning Unlimited were Noah Ledee with 2 goals and Jan Lucas van der Plas with 1 goal.
In the second 11+U group A game it was Sr. Magda FC versus Sr. Magda United Stars. Both teams ended up via the seeding draw in the same group and are now each other's rivals to get past the first round. Sr. Magda FC started last week with a draw versus Hillside Christian. It is the first game for Sr. Magda United Stars. Sr. Magda United Stars started strong with a goal by Dante Simmonds, the team's game maker. Magda FC however quickly evened the score. Dante Simmonds again put one in the back of the net, but after unlucky contact with a Magda FC defender he had to leave the game with an injury. Magda FC used this momentum to take a more secure lead at halftime, Sr. Magda FC 6 – 4 Sr. Magda United Stars. Both teams showed excellent soccer which was clearly enjoyed by the spectators. In the second half Curtis Moniz stepped up and showed his striker abilities to support United Stars efforts to close the gap. United Stars managed to score but was unable from stopping Magda FC from doing the same. The final result was Sr. Magda FC 12 – 9 Sr. Magda United Stars. Top scorers for Sr. Magda FC were Jeahru Richardson with 7 goals and 2 assists and Quincy Wijngaarde with 4 goals and 1 assist. Top scorer for Sr. Magda United Stars was Curtis Moniz with 4 goals. Lorenzo Huisintveld from Sr. Magda United Stars made a spectacular goal from his own defensive position. His long distance shot went clear over the goalkeeper's head between the posts.

13+U age group category: results group A
In the 13+U category group A game between Sr. Regina versus Combine C.I.A./Montessori both teams were tied at halftime 4 – 4. Sr. Regina managed to make the difference in the second half by shutting out the Combine offense and finding the net twice themselves. The final result was Sr. Regina 6 – 4 Combine C.I.A./Montessori. Top scorers for Combine C.I.A./Montessori were Ties Kerssies and Tommy Taylor both with 2 goals. At press time the score sheet of Sr. Regina was not available to provide more details about Sr. Regina's top scorers.

15+U age group category
St. Dominic High School and M.P.C. faced each other in the 15+U category. Both teams fielded full squads. At halftime the score was close. M.P.C. enjoyed a one goal lead with a half time score of St. Dominic High School 1 – 2 M.P.C., both M.P.C. goals were scored by Kael Richards. M.P.C. came out determined in the second half to defend their lead. Slowly, but surely putting the ball between the posts. St. Dominic High School created opportunities but redeemed only one. The final result was St. Dominic High School 2 – 7 M.P.C. Top scorers for M.P.C. were Jaeremi Drijvers with 3 goals and Kumar Serrant who scored 2 goals and made 2 assists. Goal scorers for St. Dominic High School were James Cook and Brandon Potmis.

Girls 13+U age group category
Sr. Magda Girls played their match versus Leonald Connor Girls in the Girls 13+U age group category. Sr. Magda Girls had a rough first game versus Sr. Regina last week losing with a nine goal difference. Today, however, saw a more confident team on the field. Sr. Magda took the lead after Gwen van der Geer found the back of the net. At half time the score was Sr. Magda 2 – 1 Leonald Connor. In the second half the Sr. Magda players found their rhythm, especially Nayomi Tjon, who scored the second goal in the first half, and who managed to add two more in the second half for a game hat trick. Leonald Connor is rebuilding, after losing their last year's sixth graders who have moved on to secondary schools. The new girls show promise. The final result was Sr. Magda 5 – 1 Leonald Connor. Lone goal scorer for Leonald Connor was Karoline de los Santos after an assist by Tiffany Duzong.
