PHILIPSBURG:--- On Monday January 20th, 2014, detectives arrested a man with initials C.R. from Venezuela as a suspect in an attempted murder case, which took place in Middle Region in August 2012. The suspect fled the island directly after committing this criminal act and has now returned. The suspect will remain in custody for further investigation.
A second suspect (17), a student in the ongoing investigation regarding the student that was caught in school with a gun, was arrested. This incident took place on January 16th, 2014. The arrest of the second suspect took place on Thursday January 23rd, 2014. The suspects remain in custody for further investigation.
