PHILIPSBURG:--- The Voice of Our Children Foundation recently received a grant of Naf 6,300.00 from Foundation Cooperative Funds . For the second year in a row VOOC has published a beautiful calendar depicting St. Maarten youth in different settings while using statements of articles of the rights of the child for each month. These calendars are distributed in all classrooms and doctor offices free of charge. The advisory Council of Cooperative Funds acknowledges the positive work VOOC is doing and decided after sponsoring the Hype agenda last year, to also assist the youth organization in the 2014 calendar project.
Ms. Sharmaine Olivacci thanked Cooperative Funds for the generous donation and was happy to share one of the first calendars with the Advisory Council Board Members Urla Granger, Angela Dekker and Jose Sommers, Project Advisor.
