President Arrindell applauds all winners and participants of Interscholastic Board Games.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The President of Parliament Hon. Gracita Arrindell applauds all the winners and participants who recently took part in the Interscholastic Board Games competition that was hosted by the United Student Government Front (USGF).

The event was held at the Milton Peters College. USGF was established in 2007 as a method of bringing together the student bodies of the various high schools on the island.

They meet at least four times each academic year to train representatives of the various student governments. At these sessions students get a chance to see what it takes to organize and conduct their meetings, as well as share ideas on how they can make their learning environment fun.

"These interscholastic events bring students together from different schools which helps build relationships and find solutions to common problems or challenges that they encounter.

"I would like to thank the USGF for their role that they have played since 2007 and congratulations to the winners and all the participants of the interscholastic games," President of Parliament Hon. Gracita Arrindell said on Wednesday.
