PHILIPSBURG:--- UTS has committed to supporting a substantial portion of the expense of the 1st Annual Pro Baseball Camp. The camp will commence, February 1st and feature various international professional baseball players from St. Maarten and abroad. The camp is organized by local Pro player, Rene "El Big Papi" Leveret, and the goal is an opportunity for local young athletes to get professional guidance and instruction from local and international professionals. "It is our pleasure to support Mr. Leverets initiative as this will benefit a large group of local youngsters that are enthusiastic about baseball." said UTS Marketing and Communication Officer, Ivy Lambert. "It is our way of giving back and supporting local athletes in improving their skills and broadening their prospects for an international career in future. We wish all our young local athletes that will be attending the camp over the weekend a good time and hope that they will be able to hone their skills as well." Lambert continued.
