Huge Turn-out for National Alliance Meet and Greet on Sunday --- Party Leader said they are ready “Bring it on”.

nationalalliancemeeting03022014DAWN BEACH:--- A large number of people attended the meet and greet organized by the National Alliance on Sunday at the Westin Resort.
Leader of the National Alliance William Marlin said the message they want to send is that the National Alliance ship is not sinking, instead it is safely anchored in the harbor getting ready for the rough political seas of 2014.
Present during the meet and greet was the interim president of the National Alliance board Cedric James and some of the candidates that will be contesting the parliamentary election in the coming months. Marlin lashed out at some of the ship jumpers who said they wanted a stable Government for St. Maarten yet they cross over to join a party that is riddled with scandals and corruption. He said the people of St. Maarten have heard enough and they know for sure being part of the other parties is not a safe place for anyone.
Marlin further stated that the National Alliance has one agenda and that is the agenda of the people of St. Maarten. "The only business the National Alliance has been into is the business of the people. Those that wanted to enter any type of business when the National Alliance was in government for one year got their licenses and or permits." He said government is about the people and it is not to be used to enrich one particular family or their friends.
As Marlin addressed the crowd there were loud cheers and claps from his supporters. As for those persons that want to leave the National Alliance because the pastures over there looks greener and there is more opportunities for themselves, all he has to say to them is "May God be with you". For those that stay, the National Alliance will be working for St. Maarten.
Marlin introduced some of the candidates at the meet and greet to let the people know that he is not alone. He said that their commitment is to work together for St. Maarten.
After the official speeches, the National Alliance had a band in place to sing "Marching the White Line" and they maintain the objectives and beliefs of the National Alliance.
