PHILIPSBURG:--- Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), hereby announces that several road surface marking projects that will take place on 22 and 23 February.
The road surface marking projects is on-going and is in connection with improving road safety for motorists and pedestrians in the various districts throughout the country, and therefore there will be an interruption in traffic flow and motorists are advised to be alert.
On Saturday 22 February, there will be interruption to the traffic flow on the W.A. Nisbeth (Pondfill Road) and Airport Road from 7:00am to 5:00pm, and on Sunday 23 February on the Bush Road from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
Motorists are requested to be vigilant and observant for the traffic directional signs indicating what works are underway in the respective area.
Motorists and pedestrians are also advised that it is against the law for tampering or removing a traffic barricade or any other piece of government property.
Ministry VROMI apologizes for any inconvenience that this may cause.
