BISHOP HILL:--- The Detective Department is presently investigating a case of ill-treatment with a weapon committed by a lady with the initials Z.T.M.P. The incident took place on Wednesday February 26th, 2014 at approximately 6:00am in the Bishop Hill area. This is when the call came in to the Police Department by the suspect informing the officers that shortly before she attempted to cut off her husbands genitals with a razor. Immediately the officers went to the scene the further investigate what had happened. On the scene, the officers spoke to the victim with initials D.O.P., who stated that while he was asleep his wife tried to cut off his genitals but did not succeed. However, she did cause a wound to the genital area. The victim was taken to the Sint Maarten Medical Center for treatment. The suspect was arrested and remains in custody for further investigation.
