PHILIPSBURG:--- On Wednesday March 26, 2014, a brief swearing in ceremony was held at the Ministry of Justice's offices at A.Th. Illidge road, to acknowledge the academic achievements of two officers in the National Detectives department, namely Misters; Hensley Meulens and Erwin Martina. The two officers successfully completed their extra-ordinary police training at the Sint Maarten Justice Academy.
This achievement made it possible for both officers to be officially sworn in by the Minister of Justice the Honorable Dennis Richardson Minister of Justice. The Minister congratulated both officers and encouraged them to keep up the good work. Also present were the director of the National Detectives Departments and their colleagues and members of the Minister's Cabinet.
