Hard work and dedication always pay off!

MIDDLE REGION:--- The OSPP wants to take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Reginald Richard Wilson and his parents with his achievement as the first local aviation technician. "His graduation should serve as an encouragement for many young St. Maarteners who are interested in pursuing this field of Aviation Maintenance Technician", says Lenny Priest, Leader of the OSPP. The OSPP is always happy when learning of an achievement of one of our young people, especially in the field of education. Again, we would want to stress the importance of our Ministry of Education making it a policy to publish on a yearly basis all our graduating students starting with the graduates from our secondary schools as well as those students who have obtained a scholarship from the government to further their studies locally or abroad. We believe that the government of St. Maarten should make scholarships available for students interested in pursuing a career in the field of Aviation Maintenance Technician, if it is not on the scholarship list of areas of studies. We also want to thank AMTS Director Jacinto Frans for his vision to introduce this area of study to St. Maarten in 2011.
The OSPP wishes Mr. Reginald R. Wilson much success in his future endeavor, be it to continue his studies or seek employment. St. Maarten is proud of you, Mr. Wilson.
