PHILIPSBURG:--- Are you a teenager or young adult looking for a job? Do you get sweaty palms and butterflies in your stomach or clam-up when you have to talk to a potential employer for a job...even if it is a Summer job?'
If you answered yes, then the workshop on June 17, 2014 is for you.
If you are a parent and know that your teenager or young adult faces the above mentioned challenges then you are also urged to recommend them to attend the workshop.
The one hour workshop, organized by the Student Support Services Division (SSSD), is entitled "Interview Techniques" is aimed at helping high school students, who are in their final two years of high school or recently graduated, sharpen their skills so that they can be successful in gaining employment.

They will be given examples of questions they may be asked by potential employers and tips on how to respond. Role playing will also be an activity during this workshop.
The workshop will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the University of St. Martin and participants are urged to be on time. Participants are also urged to bring their own writing utensils.
