PHILIPSBURG:--- The producers of the Daily Radio Program Now You Know hosted by Valerie Van Putten has once again teamed up with Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunrise to assist the community. The entities were able to secured six (6) large cylinders of cooking through the services of White Oil LPG GAS for Meals on Wheels Foundation.
The Foundation provides nutritious meals to the sick, elderly and children daily on the island and has been doing so for many years; President of the Foundation Mary Bryson was on hand to accept the vouchers
Now You Know has been providing informative programming to the community for 10 years and wanted to celebrate their anniversary by giving back to the community; they were very happy to team up with Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunrise and presented the needed vouchers to Meals on Wheels Foundation.
Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunrise is a nonprofit organization that collaborates with stakeholders to address the needs of the community. Members of the organization congregate at Air Lekkerbek restaurant on Tuesday mornings at 7:00am for fellowship and breakfast.
