PHILIPSBURG:--- We live in a highly stressful world and St. Maarten is not exempt.
Persons are stressed out at home, on their jobs, in relationships, physically, emotionally and financially. Increasingly, persons are becoming sick with strokes, heart conditions, cancer and other forms of illness and we have seen an increase in the number of sudden deaths among the young and old.
The above reasons underscore the fact that persons in our community need tools with which to cope with the challenges of life. Consequently, Dr. Nicole Erna Mae Francis-Cotton, the visionary of Victorious Living who has a BA in Psychology and a Master's in Counselling with concentrations in Marriage and Family Therapy has been building her expertise in EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) which enables persons to receive emotional and physical healing more quickly and effectively than they could solely through talk therapy.
Last year, Victorious Living conducted two Journey to Freedom confidential group sessions for both males and females and experienced remarkable results and will therefore be resuming these Journey to Freedom Sessions for various sectors of our community who are ready for change.
On August 7th, the first four-week confidential small group Journey to Freedom session resumes. This group is specifically targeted to executive women or professionals who are experiencing stress in their lives which could either create physical sickness or have already become sick and want to improve their mental and emotional health.
Persons experiencing physical pain including back pain; emotional and psychological trauma, debilitating fears such as fear of speaking in front of audiences; fear of failure and test anxiety have all received remarkable results through Dr. Francis-Cotton's practice at Victorious Living.
One client who had experienced betrayal in her marriage and was completely emotionally distraught was able to release the bitterness, pain and anger that she felt toward her husband in a matter of ten minutes of applying EFT and was in disbelief that she was able to experience healing so quickly.
Other clients with sprained ankles, headaches, and other types of pain also received relief in as little as three to five minutes as a result of Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping).
Registration is essential to participate in Victorious Living's Journey to Freedom session. Since space is limited, persons have until August 4th to register for the first group. When the sessions are filled persons will be placed on a waiting list for the successive sessions which will be tailored to the various demographics of those who have registered.
Among the issues that persons could be facing are:
- Appetite problems; Pain associated with surgery; Pain associated with childbirth
- Drug addiction; Alcohol addiction; Food addiction; Tobacco use or smoking
- Excessive stress; cancer; depression; emotional trauma; relationship issues, grief etc.
