PHILIPSBURG:--- The National Alliance will continue to outline how it will be putting the people of St. Maarten first at its third public meeting at the property across from Harley Davidson in Cole Bay on Saturday, August 23 at 7:00pm.
Leader of the National Alliance (NA) Member of Parliament William Marlin says the party's 23 candidates will be touching on some of the areas that the party will be championing in the next governing period at the meeting. Candidates will also continue to speak about some of the burning issues in the community.
Marlin said government needs to be placed back in the hands of the people of St. Maarten, which is what the NA family plans to do.
Thanking the people of Dutch Quarter and Sucker Garden for their big turnout at NA's last two meetings in those districts, the National Alliance invites the people of Cole Bay, surrounding areas and the rest of St. Maarten to come out in numbers to listen to the 23 candidates address the issues.
He said the great turnout at the last two meetings is a clear testimony that the people of St. Maarten stands firm behind the National Alliance and called on the public to take the party straight to eight, make them happy with a nine or give them a perfect ten seats in the new parliament.
"We look forward to seeing everyone in Cole Bay, nearby areas and the rest of St. Maarten at our second meeting where we will outline some of the issues that needs to be addressed for our country to move forward."
"It is important for you to come out and listen first hand at the information being delivered to be able to make the right choice on August 29," Marlin said.
