THE BOTTOM, Saba:--- On Friday, October 24th, 2014, around 6:00 PM, two men were arrested for the illegal buying of gold. These men went to the homes of inhabitants of Saba to buy old gold while they did not keep continuous records and also could not show the police a register upon their first request to do so. The suspects, 35-year-old W.A.F.G. and 43 years J.L.M.A., are both from Venezuela. The investigation has also shown that both men were illegally on Saba. A reporting obligation has been imposed on both men and they should voluntarily leave the island with the first possibility. Both men were released after questioning and after they had been offered a transaction.
