PHILIPSBURG:--- On Thursday, October 30th, PANDORA St. Maarten celebrated the POWER OF PINK with the Positive Foundation. It was a lovely evening, dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness and the launch of The PANDORA Store's newest collection: PANDORA Rose™ jewelry, available exclusively at the boutique in Philipsburg.

In honor of Pink October, valued customers sipped pink drinks and enjoyed light bites as they fell in love with the beauty of PANDORA Rose™ jewelry at the store in Philipsburg. A portion of event sales was graciously donated to the Positive Foundation. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to have a screening and consultation with Dr. Grace Spencer. Marcellina " Maso" Loblack", from the Still Beautiful Foundation and a breast cancer survivor, was the guest of honor and cut a cake in honor of all those battling breast cancer.
Dilys Alphonso, Vice-President of the Positive Foundation, dedicated her time in making the PANDORA Team and their clients alert to the importance of the awareness of breast cancer – the causes, cures, prevention, and how best to live one's life with positive energy. "Positive attitudes enhances life," explains Dilys. The Positive Foundation is a non-profit organization in St. Maarten that has been in existence for 16 years now. Their mission is to save lives by continuing their breast cancer related initiatives, like free clinical breast examination (CBE), run/walk challenges and community education.
Working with the Positive Foundation and Dr. Spencer was particularly special for The PANDORA Store in Philipsburg this year as it was the first time all its sister stores in Aruba, Curacao, St. Thomas, and Miami worked together to benefit their local cancer foundations with the launch of PANDORA Rose™ jewelry. It is always important to give back to the community, for such an important cause. We look forward to working together for years to come.
