PHILIPSBURG:--- Director of the St. Maarten Housing Development Foundation Henry Lynch who was also the campaign manager for Member of Parliament Leona Marlin was suspended from his job on Friday morning. According to information reaching SMN News the board members of the St. Maarten Housing Development Foundation has been looking for Lynch for a number of days now and he could not be found. SMN News understands that Lynch's keys were taken away and a letter was sent to him informing him of the board's decision pending an investigation. Information SMN News recieved after publishing this article states that the two board members are the ones that met Lynch and took his keys away and presented him with a letter.
SMN News further learnt that Lynch is currently hiding out on the French side of the island. According to unconfirmed information Lynch who is constructing a huge property in Dutch Quarter ordered materials for his private property using the SHDF account. SMN News tried to get this information confirmed from members of the board but they refused to say anything. One of the board members even told SMN News he resigned from SMHDF since October 31st, 2014 while another board member resigned on October 15th, 2014. SMN News called Henry Lynch who did not respond to the phone calls but later called back and refused to identify himself. When he was asked who was speaking he said "me" and that SMN News should check their phones to see who they called.
Apart from that Lynch's wife posted on her Facebook page a number of threats and what she will do if and when she sees SMN News reporter on the street. SMN News chose to mention what Rofina Lynch posted on her Facebook page because Henry Lynch has a murder record and with such persons in our community anything is possible. Some years ago Henry Lynch went with others to commit an armed robbery at a gas station in Cole Bay and he killed the gas station attendant in cold blood.
