PHILIPSBURG:--- This year, Flinx Recruitment will once again organize the event to recruit students and professionals in The Netherlands to return to the islands of the Dutch Caribbean. Flinx Recruitment Expo for Dutch Caribbean, or commonly known as FRED, is scheduled to take place in the June 2015 at WTC Rotterdam.
During the first week of June FRED will host an array of activities aimed at bringing professionals and students residing in Holland in contact with representatives of various companies and organizations from the islands. FRED's mission is to bring the two parties together in a direct, simple and interactive manor, hence bridging the gap between The Netherlands and The Dutch Caribbean.
FRED kicks off on Thursday, June 4th with the annual Company Dinner. The second day of the program, Friday, June 5th, will feature a leadership conference. The Job Fair will be held on Saturday, June 6th in WTC Rotterdam and will be host to various activities. Visitors can attend presentations and workshops given by the companies and organizations. A large amount of companies and organizations will be present at the Job Fair, elaborating about their vacancies and career opportunities. FRED concludes on Sunday, June 7th. Companies and organizations are given the opportunity to interview the candidates that they have selected.
More than 50 companies and organizations have made the journey to the Netherlands to recruit professionals and students during the previous editions of FRED. Over 2000 people have visited FRED's job fair and more than 400 candidates had interviews with one or more companies and organizations over the past few years. All of this has resulted in approximately 200 people who have received a job on one of the Dutch Caribbean islands.
All Dutch Caribbean islands share one goal; to hire professionals and students residing in The Netherlands, to give them an opportunity to build a career on their native island. FRED plays a significant role for both companies and candidates searching for new opportunities in the Caribbean.
