PHILIPSBURG – The St. Maarten Zoo sure is starting off 2015 on the right hoof! The Board of the Foundation would like to extend their gratitude to Halley Dental Clinic in Simpson Bay for sponsoring two enclosures for the Zoo's guinea pigs and rabbits. The new enclosures provide better coverage from the elements as well as more exercise and entertainment for the guinea pigs. Currently, the Zoo is using only one enclosure for the guinea pigs and the other is to be used for the rabbits once
the new petting zoo is completed later on this year.
Alongside the new coats of paint and repaired benches, the Zoo is inviting the general public to come on down to Madame Estate and see our renovations' progress.
