President of Parliament welcomes Tae Kwon Do Students.

garrindellwelcomestaekwondostudents15032012PHILIPSBURG:--- Earlier this week President of Parliament Hon. drs. Gracita Arrindell welcomed students, parents and Grandmaster Theo Liu of the King Yen Tae Kwon Do School at the Princess Juliana International Airport upon their arrival from Puerto Rico. The tae kwon do students took part in the 19th International Tae Kwon Do Championships called Los Gallitos Olimpicos 2012 in Puerto Rico.

"Les Brown and I on behalf of the Minister of Youth & Sports Hon. Dr. Rhoda Arrindell welcomed the young athletes back home. We congratulated them, and I told them how proud we were of them, their parents, and of the King Yen Tae Kwon Do School, and we look forward to them representing the country in other regional and international tournaments. This type of sport builds character and discipline. Special congrats goes out to Grandmaster Liu for doing an excellent job," President of Parliament Hon. Gracita Arrindell said on Wednesday.

The students brought home 19 gold medals, 13 silver, and nine bronze.
