GEBE won court case against COO Romelio Maduro

romeliomaduro17052015Judge Ruled that Shareholder (Government) Decision of May 29th is null and void.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The judge in the court of First Instance ruled in favor of the Supervisory Board of Directors GEBE on Thursday. Based on the verdict the judge ruled that Romelio Maduro not to perform any management act on behalf of GEBE as long as there is no irrevocable verdict with the regards to the decision taken by the Supervisory Board.
The judge further stated in his decision that Romelio Maduro cannot access any of GEBE buildings. While the court also empowers the Supervisory Board to de-register Romelio Maduro from the registry of the Chamber of Commerce as a Director of the Government owned company. The decision rendered on Thursday also gives the Supervisory Board to execute the decision of the court immediately.
The judge further denied Maduro’s counter claim while ordering him to pay all the court costs and for the litigation that GEBE brought against him.
