UPP/De Weever/LMR/USP Coalition fall apart --- Master, and Lake Allegedly pulls support.

New Coalition Government in the making.

PHILIPSBURG:--- What appeared to be a rumor seemingly became a reality Tuesday night when it was announced on Online radio program that the current coalition government fell apart. According to information reaching SMN News states that Member of Parliament Silvio Matser, and Member of Parliament Maurice Lake allegedly pulled their support from the current coalition and would join the National Alliance, Democratic Party and USP to form the next government. SMN News learnt the break up took place just after 8pm Tuesday night. However, it was clear that MP Maurice Lake was not happy with the current government. Recently MP Lake criticized the way the current government has been operating.
SMN News understands that Member of Parliament and Leader of the National Alliance William Marlin and Leader of the Democratic Party Sarah Wescot Williams met at Parliament Building on Tuesday morning for several hours.
Around 10pm Tuesday night SMN News was told that the new coalition partners were busy dividing the portfolios even though some of the MPS that are mentioned are currently off island.
It should be noted that the UPP has been having internal problems with their members for months now and each time the leader of the UPP Theodore Heyliger was busy putting fires out within his own party. Not to mention the governing program that was presented by four members of the coalition was done without the knowledge of the UPP leader Theodore Heyliger and some other Members of Parliament representing the UPP faction.
SMN News will bring you more information on this story as it unfolds.
