EXCLUSIVE: Two GEBE Senior Employees Suspended with pay as Investigation Stolen Copper Continues.

PHILIPSBURG:--- Two senior employees of GEBE power-plant have been suspended with pay on Monday as the company continues the investigation on the two truck-loads of copper that were stolen at the power plant. According to information provided to SMN News the two senior employees are Ray Carty, the manager of the Cape Bay power-plant and Elmo Williams a supervisor in the mechanical division of the said power-plant.
SMN News understands that the two employees were verbally notified on Friday last week but received written notification from the company’s Chief Financial Officer Rene Gartner on Monday. On Tuesday the security guards at the GEBE power-plant received a memo informing them that they are not to allow the two senior employees on the property as they are suspended until further notice.
It is further understood that management of GEBE will be moving to court shortly to get permission to terminate the working agreements for the two employees now that they received the reports on the theft of the copper. After the official termination management of GEBE will move to file criminal complaints against all those that were involved in the stealing of the copper leaving the contractors that demolished six old engines at GEBE power-plant empty handed.
