PHILIPSBURG:--- The board of the St. Maarten Housing Development Foundation (SMHDF) though their attorney has submitted a criminal complaint against the former director of the St. Maarten Housing Development Foundation (SMHDF) Henry Lynch. Press Prosecutor Karola Van Nie confirmed that the prosecutor’s office received a criminal complaint on August 4th 2015. Van Nie did not give any details on the criminal complaint that was filed.
The board of the SMHDF had a forensic audit done on the books of the SMHDF foundation which SMN News understands has been completed which gave the SMHDF the much needed ammunition they needed to file the criminal complaint.
Henry Lynch and two of his other colleagues were suspended, shortly after that Lynch was terminated from his position while the two other employees were reinstated back to their jobs based on a court decision rendered earlier this year.
On Sunday SMN News discovered that Henry Lynch made a very daring post on his Facebook page after SMN News wrote this article. It should be noted that when the scandal at the SMHDF broke several shot were fired at Elston Fos home in Belveredere. Police was investigating this case but to date no one knows if it was ever solved.
