PHILIPSBURG:--- The Windward Islands Bank staff and management have started a food and clothing drive collection at our Main Office for our brothers and sisters in Dominica. The community can also participate by dropping-off; non-perishable foods, water, bed sheets, Bath towels, clothing and toiletries in the marked boxes at WIB’s Main Office branch . We have all been touched by the news reports about the floods that caused massive destruction to villages in Dominica leaving many isolated from getting the basic needs. Management also wishes to sympathize with our staff with families in Dominica and also with the DA community here on St.Maarten. WIB is working in collaboration with Dominican groups residing on St. Maarten to get the necessary items transported to Dominica. The first shipment is leaving on Sunday September 6, 2015. Please note; folding beds are also in need and can be dropped off at the Ring road container with Dominican Flag.
