SIMPSON BAY:---The St.Maarten Marine Trades Association (SMMTA) has been asked by the Dominica Marine Association to assist after the passing of TS Erika, which left Dominica devastated from flooding. The SMMTA on behalf the Dominica Marine Association is urging the community to assist in any way possible. As a huge rush is going out at the moment, we will be sending our donations and supplies within the next few weeks, as the need becomes great again. Donations can be made locally to the SMMTA at the office at Isle De Sol Marina and we will then transfer the entire amount to the Dominica Marine Association. If anyone would like to donate supplies, these can also be dropped off at Isle De Sol Marina. If you have a vessel that can be used to transport supplies to Dominica, please contact us directly.
