PHILIPSBURG:--- Be the Change Foundation has made a special donation to Ari Sutton, social worker, for materials for Life Skills classes being taught at ICAN Foundation. Ms. Sutton is teaching life and social skills classes to the residents of the ICAN children's home. This 18 week program provides training in life skills to the children in order to empower them to make positive changes in their lives.
The program is aimed to strengthen and support children by teaching better coping skills to prepare them for adult life.
Be the Change is proud to support this effort, contributing funds from the Erika Cannegieter-Smith Educational Fund.
The Erika Cannegieter-Smith Educational Fund was created with monies raised in Erika’s memory by a GoFundMe campaign.
