PHILIPSBURG:--- Sint Maarten – The House of Parliament will meet in a public plenary session on December 11.
The plenary session is set for Friday at 10.00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.
The first agenda point is a discussion with the Electoral Council about the February 9th, 2016 elections.
The second agenda point is a draft National Ordinance for changes to the Pension National Ordinance for Civil Servants. This agenda point was requested by Members of Parliament (MPs) L.M. Marlin-Romeo, MP F.A. Meyers and MP T.E. Heyliger.
Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations.
The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120, via Pearl Radio FM 98.1, the audio via the Internet www.pearlfmradio.com and via www.sxmparliament.org.
