Pond Island"--- TelEm Group technicians will be upgrading telephone lines in the Simpson Bay area between 7:00 am in the morning and 2:00 pm in the afternoon Saturday.
Residential and business customers located between the Simpson Bay Bridge and the former Grande Marche Supermarket can expect some interruption in fixed landline and internet service as a result of the scheduled work.
When completed, the cutover operation will increase the number of telephone lines available to both business and residential clients in the area. The quality of existing lines will also be improved.
Technicians expect interruptions to be kept to a minimum time throughout, however, in the event that a customer is left without communication at the end of the cutover, they are requested to call any one of the following numbers to provide necessary information: Tel: 522-6937 and/or Tel: 523-8407
TelEm Group has meantime apologized for any inconvenience that may be caused to customers as a result of Saturday’s Cutover.
