MARIGOT: --- Goldfinger Jewelry store located at the Marina Royale in Margot was robbed on Friday afternoon by two armed robbers. Captain of the Gendarmerie Emmanuel Maignan confirmed that the robbery occurred around 2:30pm on Friday afternoon. Maignan said that two young men entered the jewelry store and broke the showcase while threatening the workers with a firearm. The armed robbers managed to escape with an undisclosed amount of jewelry that was in the showcase at the time. Maignan said no one was hurt in the broad daylight attack.
After committing the crime the two bandits made their escape on two scooters. The Gendarmes are busy investigating Maignan said.
