PHILIPSBURG:--- Early Friday morning the Attracko Team arrested a well-known suspect in the murder of Juan Cannegieter who found shot to death in his car on Haitian Lane Marigot Hill St. Peters on August 6th, 2018.
SMN News learned that the team of investigators arrested Dean Benjamin who was already convicted in at least two shooting murder cases. According to information SMN News received is that the suspect sold the victim cellular phone which was found and traced back to him.
A statement from the Prosecutor's Office confirmed that a house search was carried out this morning in St. Peter’s in connection to the ongoing investigation into the murder of Juan Cannegieter on Marigothill Road in St. Peter’s on August 6, 2018. A suspect was arrested.
