PHILIPSBURG:----On Saturday, September 21st, 2019 the patrol was directed to the Sucker-Garden area for the suspect for whom an arrest warrant had been issued by the Public Prosecutor. At the location, they encounter the man A.L who is suspected of burglarizing a pool bar in the Sucker-Garden area. After being arrested the suspect was transported to the police station in Philipsburg and handed over to the detective department. He remains in custody for further investigation.
Two persons arrested with drugs
On Sunday, September 22th 2019, in the morning hours, the patrol from Philipsburg stop a car on the Soualiga Road during a routine control. After stopping the vehicle the patrol noticed that the driver and passenger began acting very suspicious as the police approached them. During the control of the vehicle, the officers noticed a bag, containing a substantial amount of marihuana in the vehicle. The driver and passenger with the initials G.H.S and T.J.K were arrested and brought over to the police station for questioning. The drugs were confiscated and handed over to the detective department who are busy with the investigation.
