PHILIPSBURG:--- Director of USZV Glen Carty has suspended an employee identified by staffers as Franjesca Bulbaai for leaking information to SMN News based on suspicions. Staffers of USZV told SMN News that Bulbaai was suspended on Tuesday morning effective immediately until further notice.
SMN News further understands that Bulbaai is seeking legal advice as she intends to take the Director of USZV Glen Carty to court for wrongful suspension and defamation of character.
The staffers said Bulbaai who is responsible for collections has been under attack for over a year now and that on Monday she was again interrogated for hours since Eurlene Rombley whose husband owns WEC owes USZV millions and he has never been summoned to pay.
The staffers said that Rombley is the one pushing for Bulbaai suspension because she believes that Bulbaai is the only one that knows how many companies are delinquent and are being protected by Glen Carty.
Another employee that is also suspended on the same suspicions is Abraham (Bram) Christian the senior collections officer of USZV.
The source further stated that just recently the owner of Clean St. Maarten Boykie Mendez owes USZV millions and he too is not paying his premiums and just recently the internal auditor Marvel Hooi went after Mendez for payment and instead of the businessman working on paying his debt he went to Glen Carty and filed a complaint. The staffers said that Carty had a ‘verbal war’ with Hooi who stood his ground with the delinquent businessman who managed to get a payment plan for NAF 300.00 per month while small businesses owned by local entrepreneurs are being penalized for non-payment.
The staffers went on to say that MP Jules James also owes USZV millions and the social insurance bank is not doing anything about the delinquent politician who owns several businesses on the island and is not paying his social dues for his employees.
