PHILIPSBURG:--- This November, the National Ombudsman's team will be visiting the Caribbean Netherlands. Three times a year, the researchers come to Bonaire, Saba, and Statia to assist residents with their complaints about the Government. Consultation sessions will be held, which are open to anyone who has a complaint. Whenever necessary, the researchers will also visit people at their homes to see if they can offer them assistance to solve their problems with the Government.
People who have complaints about, for example, the tax authorities, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the police, the Public Bodies or the National Office for the Caribbean Netherlands, may submit these to the National Ombudsman's researchers, free of charge.
