~ Antonia Wilson goes back to the previous position as Director of Operations after 40 years of service.~
PHILIPSBURG:--- President of the Democratic Party (DP) Marinka Gumbs has been selected to become the interim Director of Postal Services St. Maarten (PSS). Gumbs a local professional will take up the position as of January 6th, 2020.
The Board of PSS made the announcement last week and is expected to inform the Council of Ministers today Thursday when they meet with the Council of Ministers.
Meanwhile, Antonia Wilson who was in the position as interim director will return to her previous position as the Director of Operations at PSS. Wilson celebrated her 40th year in the postal service industry on November 1st, 2019. She began her career as a young person on the island of Saba.
