Passengers are taken to LCF for further testing and possible treatment.
AIRPORT:--- A couple was at the Princess Juliana International Airport on Friday where they were placed in isolation and interviewed by the Marechaussee and Gendarmes because they are suspected of having symptoms of the Corona Virus (COVID-19)
SMN News learned the couple arrived on St. Martin via a ferry boat on February 22nd and was staying on the French side of the island until today February 28th when they were expected to depart St. Maarten from PJIAE.
PJIAE authorities told SMN News that they have no information that would confirm whether or not the two passengers have the Corona Virus since they were placed in insolation and interviewed by both French and Dutch authorities.
Spokesperson for PJIAE Audrey St. Luce Jack said that the matter was handled mainly by French Authorities with the assistance of the Dutch. St. Luce Jack said when the interview was completed the two passengers were taken by French Authorities to the Louis Constant Fleming Hospital for further testing and possible treatment.
