PHILIPSBURG:--- In light of the recent spike in COVID-19 infections and the continued vaccination campaign, the St. Martin United Ministerial Foundation is inviting the general public to a Townhall Meeting on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 18:00 hrs. This event will be held at the New Testament Baptist Church in Philipsburg (near KFC) and all COVID-19 protocols will be placed including mask usage, sanitization, and social distancing.
The Townhall Meeting will feature several presentations including the citizen's rights and responsibilities, healthy living, nutrition, and dealing with anxiety, stress, and suicide. This represents the second phase of a 3 part public awareness campaign launched by SMUMF in May.
The SMUMF is committed to working with all stakeholders for an inclusionary, holistic approach to fighting COVID-19 and other communicable and non-communicable diseases and illnesses in St. Maarten.
