PHILIPSBURG:--- The House of Parliament will sit in a Central Committee meeting on October 4, 2021.
The Central Committee meeting is scheduled for Monday at 14.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg.
The Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labor, Mr. Omar E.C Ottley will be present in Parliament to discuss the Ministry’s detailed plans and policies relating to job creations and views on the current labor market on Sint Maarten.
The agenda points are:
1. Approval provisions President of Parliament to participate in Board of Directors of Parlatino (IS/050/2021-2022 dated September 24, 2021)
2. Approval composition delegation and provisions Members of Parliament to attend and participate the 31st Congress and Trade Mission titled: “Ten years after dismantling
Netherlands Antilles”, December 8-9, 2021 in the Hague, the Netherlands. (IS/937/2020-2021 dated August 18, 2021)
3. New policies and plans for job creation
4. The current state of the labor market
5. Plans to support unemployed persons (IS/549/2020-2021 dated March 31, 2021)
