PHILIPSBURG:--- Oyster Bay Beach Resort announces the opening of its new Veranda Market & Bistro (in the former Beau-Beau's space). Located on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten, Oyster Bay Beach Resort is a vacation destination as well as a shopping and dining resource to residents of the Oyster Pond area.
“The new fully stocked market will be a welcome addition for area residents and resort guests,” said Ricardo Perez, Oyster Bay Beach Resort’s General Manager. “Our combination of groceries, wine, and spirits combined with specialty gourmet items is unique to the area and we have ample parking to accommodate everybody.”
The resort, and its sister property Coral Beach Club, welcomes many returning guests who are looking for dine-in and take-out options, in addition to pre-arrival grocery services. Guests of both resort properties will receive shopping lists in their pre-check-in package. The market staff will fill the orders and have everything delivered to guests’ rooms upon arrival. Additionally, the new Bistro and bar on the ocean-front deck offer an eclectic menu just right for a day at the beach or a sunset dinner steps from Dawn Beach. Beach service will be available for all beachgoers.
The Bistro will feature fresh-baked pastries and baguettes, slow-roasted rotisserie chicken, savory barbecue, hand-made pizzas, and much more.
The addition of the Veranda Market & Bistro provides much-needed new/additional dining options to the Oyster Pond area. “We anticipate the new Veranda will be a popular spot with locals and guests alike,” added Mr. Perez.
