During this event, several renowned speakers, such as Mr. Olivier Rikken (Partner and founder of Emerging Horizons), Mr. Rik Willard (Founder and Managing Director of Agentic), and Mr. Errol Cova (Head of the Expert Supervision Department and Chair of the Innovation Platform of the CBCS) will provide an insight into blockchain and other emerging technologies. Mrs. Raquel Lo Fo Wong, the Director of CBCS Office in Sint Maarten, will open the conference followed by a speech by the Minister of Finance of Sint Maarten, the Hon. Mr. Ardwell Irion.
Our first speaker, Mr. Olivier Rikken, will provide the audience with a comprehensive overview of emerging technologies, such as blockchain and other decentralized autonomous technologies. Subsequently, Mr. Rik Willard will present the practical applicability of these technologies in the financial services and hospitality industries. Lastly, Mr. Errol Cova will provide insight from a regulatory scope, where he will detail the legal possibilities for these technologies to be applied within the jurisdiction of Sint Maarten. The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Mr. Rolando Tobias.
