Ottley warns businesses to follow COVID-19 protocol or face measures.

omarottley23042021PHILIPSBURG:--- Minister of VSA Omar Ottley issued a stern warning to businesses especially nightlife to strictly follow the COVID-19 protocol or face the consequences of having measures implemented for the lack of implementing the COVID-19 protocols.
Ottley said that the moment there are 4546 positive cases since March 2020 to present of that amount 4435 persons recovered while 75 persons are now deceased. Currently, there is one person hospitalized.
The Minister of Health said that businesses should respect the agreement and protocol that were signed. He said a website will be launched to document all information received from the inspectors that are controlling these businesses. Businesses that are compliant will be listed and promoted on the website.
Persons that were tested positive for the COVID-19 can now activate their QR code and have a DCR. This application will show that the persons that were infected within 9 months are fully immune.
