PHILIPSBURG:--- Flow has signed on as a supporting partner to Every Woman’s Voice; a weekly radio program presented by the Prominent Women Foundation on SOS Radio.
The weekly show discusses a range of topics with the objective of empowering women and encouraging the growth and development of listeners within our local community. The telecoms provider supported the hosts of the show with a Samsung tablet.
The new device will offer online viewers a clearer picture of the studio and visiting guests when the show goes live weekly via Facebook Live stream. In addition, the company is supporting the program by providing Chippie mobile data service, allowing the hosts to ‘go live on Facebook anywhere on the island.
“We’re looking forward to using the tablet to give viewers a better glimpse into our studio every week,” said show host and president of Prominent Women Foundation, Ramona Riley.
“When you can see us and our guests in the studio, the commitment and passion that our weekly guests bring to the show is clear. Our aim is to cover a wide range of topics with the key focus on Breaking the Silence on Domestic Violence and its negative effects on our society.”
“We’re happy to support the show in enhancing their weekly broadcast,” says Rauf Engels, acting Country Manager of Flow.
“Healthy discussions on topics that matter should be encouraged and fostered within our local community and if we can support in keeping that conversation going, we’ll gladly do our part. Women fulfill a pivotal role in our community, and it is important to us to champion awareness on key issues and support the empowerment of women so that they can take full advantage of each opportunity. We applaud Prominent Women Foundation for empowering radio listeners and online viewers with the knowledge to build on their strengths and to live their best life.”
Every Woman's Voice is broadcast every Thursday on SOS Radio, 95.9 FM from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The upcoming program will be a collaboration with Flow, focussing on internet safety and protecting against cyberbullying, identity theft, and more.
