Harbour View/Fort Louis:--- On Tuesday June 5, 2012, His Excellency Governor Eugene B. Holiday paid a working visit to Saint Martin and met with Mr. Philippe Chopin, Préfet for St. Martin and St. Barthelemy, at Fort Louis.During the meeting, the Governor and the Préfet discussed several matters of mutual interest for St. Maarten and St. Martin. Topics discussed included cooperation between Sint Maarten/Saint Martin and more specifically the Joint Declaration of Intent which was signed on February 15, 2012. In addition to that, they discussed border, immigration controls, law enforcement, environment, education, and related mutual assistance matters.
