~IP Exchange Caribbean, PWR Agency & BIP SXM partner to empower creators to monetize their IP~
PHILIPSBURG:--- On March 17th, 24th, & 31th, Produce Wealth Revolution Agency will be hosting the IP Impact 2022 knowledge facility of Intellectual Property (IP) Exchange Caribbean. Executed in partnership with IP Exchange Caribbean and Produce Wealth Revolution Agency, this virtual Bootcamp is carefully designed to equip innovative entrepreneurs and creators with the strategies to effectively leverage their intellectual property and scale their business.
IP Impact is a unique learning and knowledge facility curated by Kayanne E. Anderson, the Convenor of IP Exchange Caribbean. Ms. Anderson is a premier intellectual property specialist in the Caribbean with a legal reform and policy advocacy background and has helped governments, non-profits, and businesses shape their intellectual property strategies and build awareness on how they can use intellectual property to develop economies through deliberately engineering streams of revenue and building capacity to leverage IP assets.
Intellectual property is a powerful tool to build a sustainable and growing business in the 21st century and can be used for words/phrases, teaching models and methodologies, dance, coding, and inventions, just to name a few. The Caribbean has some of the world’s most unique creators. This has been documented in the report, ‘The Orange Economy” by the Inter-American Development Bank and is shown in the manner the world pays attention to the region’s music, food, fashion, and industries. Still, many innovative entrepreneurs and creators do not have a clear intellectual property strategy and thus often fail to effectively monetize their ideas and create economic and growth opportunities.
Over the course of three weeks, this boot camp will offer them an opportunity to learn more about intellectual property, its economic benefits, how to design effective IP strategies, and ways to become more profitable with their intellectual property.
BIP SXM is a key partner for the IP Impact 2022, as they are the public service provider for Sint Maarten in the field of Intellectual Property rights. Their services are aimed at securing IP rights for individuals, entrepreneurs, and companies doing business, or creating and selling artistic works in or from Sint Maarten. In addition, BIP SXM is committed to increasing IP awareness on Sint Maarten and within the region.
IP Impact 2022 will take place on Thursday, March 17, 24, & 31 from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm is open to all especially those within the region.
