MARIGOT:--- President Louis Mussington wishes to support President-candidate Emmanuel Macron, in the context of the 2022 presidential elections, the first round of which is taking place this Saturday, April 9, 2022, in Saint-Martin.
“We are all once again called to the polls, Saturday, April 9, 2022, for the 1st round of the national presidential election. I invite every citizen to take an active part in this election. The challenge for our overseas territories is high: it is about the future of our territory and the treatment of its specificities within the Republic.
In view of the proposals presented to us during the campaign, I have chosen to support the outgoing President, Emmanuel Macron. And I invite and encourage each of you to express your feelings by going to vote. Vote in the interest of the Nation, vote in the interest of Saint-Martin!
In 2017, several of us, including Frantz Gumbs and myself, campaigned for Emmanuel Macron and his En Marche party. I renew my confidence in the President of the Republic and I call on the voters of Saint-Martin to follow me in this choice and to go out to vote massively on Saturday, April 9.
The Rassemblement Saint-Martinois-Alternative is an expression of the unity that made the difference at the ballot box. Our group represents all the components of our society and we are all fully aware of the expectations of the population and the challenges that await us.
Our country needs stability to face the changes that are looming and foster opportunities. I invite all the inhabitants of Saint-Martin to renew the momentum of commitment and hope that they showed us on Sunday, March 20 and 27, to go to the polls en masse so that the participation of Saint-Martin be up to the challenges ahead. ".
Louis MUSSINGTON
President
