Prime Minister of Curacao and General Secretary SER discuss themes to strengthen advisory capacity of advisory body.

WILLEMSTAD:--- Members of the Social and Economic Council (SER) of Curaçao who have been waiting for some time now for their government decrees that formalize the retroactive extension of their term of office will soon receive them. Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas (MFK) of Curaçao has made arrangements on this with the director and secretary-general of the SER of Curaçao drs. R.J. Henriquez. The draft decrees have been with the government for some time now and must still be approved by the Council of Ministers of Curaçao before they can take effect retroactively.
Mr. Henriquez also presented to the Prime Minister of the Leeward island an opinion in which the SER proposes policies for government agencies when they are working on a draft legislation.
