PHILIPSBURG:--- On Friday, June 17, 2022, the third edition of the annual Governor’s Youth Award for Excellence will take place at Belair Community Center. The Governor’s Youth Awards for Excellence are special distinctions granted by the Governor of Sint Maarten. The Governor’s Youth Award for Excellence will be awarded to youths who have attained a level of excellence in the selected fields greater than that achieved by others, or whose performances have been so exceptional that these achievements have identified them as being clearly outstanding from others. Selected nominees, their parents, and their nominators have been invited to attend the Awards Ceremony. Winners will receive their Youth Award for Excellence at the Award Ceremony.
The event is invitation-only, however for members of the public that are interested in viewing the event live streaming will take place. The Livestream will be available to the public from 07:00 PM, on Friday, June 17, 2022, and can be accessed via this link:
